The MITP Summer School 2024 on "Crosslinks of Early Universe Cosmology" will feature internationally recognized scientists giving lectures focusing on the exciting developments and interdisciplinary research in early universe cosmology. ย Lecture topics will include in-depth reviews of the cosmological history of the universe and thermal field theory, as well as overviews of the state of the art of dark matter research, neutrino physics, gravitational waves, baryogenesis and leptogenesis, multimessenger physics, and specialized topics such as phase transitions and non-standard cosmological relics. ย The school is aimed at advanced graduate students in theoretical physics specializing in particle physics and/or cosmology.
We expect to accommodate ~50 students from around the world at the Erbacher Hof in downtown Mainz. ย The registration fee will include shared-room housing at the Erbacher Hof, full board for the weekdays and breakfast on weekends, as well as a selection of group and touristic activities in the Mainz region. ย Lecturers will also be housed at the Erbacher Hof, ensuring a dynamic environment for students to engage with peers and senior physicists.
Applications are closed and the decisions for admission to the school have been communicated to all applicants.
