The aim of this workshop is to critically discuss the precision issues in theory predictions and corresponding tools for the most important electroweak observables at the HL-LHC, future e+e- colliders, and low-energy experiments. This includes the assessment of the current state of the art including theoretical uncertainties, as well as the identification of necessary further improvements (i.e. mission-critical calculations) required to achieve the targeted physics goals of these experiments. We aim at preparing a short common document authored by all participants summarizing the outcome of the workshop (something akin to an “electroweak theory wish-list”).

Topics of interest include:

  • LHC EW precision physics, extraction of pseudo-observables (POs) from hadron collider data, impact of PDFs
  • High-precision Z-pole pseudo-observables, W mass, Higgs decay widths
  • Determination of POs at e+e- colliders (ee->ff, ee->WW, ee->ZH)
  • Low-energy ee, ep, eC scattering (in particular relating to P2@MESA), weak charges of e, p, C, heavy nuclei
  • Discussion of theory uncertainties
