The scientific goals of this Scientific Program are the following:
-
Review of the most up-to-date experimental status of the various B-physics anomalies in view of the new LHCb analyses which may be available by the time of the workshop
-
Discussion of the results from Belle II, NA62, g-2 experiments in conjunction with the available information from the LHCb analyses
-
Discussion of the various theoretical possibilities from the BSM perspective, both from the EFT point of view and in the context of specific UV completions, in case some of the B-physics anomalies survive or new interesting hints are seen
-
Assessing the low energy signals in view of the large amount of information available from the high-pT experiment
-
Discussion about how we should reorganize our thoughts and prejudices in our endeavour to find signals of physics beyond the Standard Model, just in case most of the B-physics anomalies disappear (in this case, the non-existence of positive signals both in flavour physics and in the high-pT experiments will be discussed in the broader context of the various shortcomings/unsatisfactory features of the Standard Model)
