The MITP activity will be held on campus at the Institute for Physics. The scientific program is organized by Nora Brambilla (TU Munich), Dietrich Bödeker (Bielefeld), Harvey Meyer (JGU Mainz), Guy D. Moore (McGill), Frank D. Steffen (MPI Munich), and Antonio Vairo (TU Munich). For questions concerning the workshop, please contact the MITP scientific coordinator (coordinator@mitp.uni-mainz.de).
MITP seeks to bring together physicists with common scientific interests for discussions and collaborations. Instead of relying on a comprehensive list of talks, the program will focus on a series of informal seminars to inspire further discussions. Typically, up to 25 scientists take part at any given time. They are expected to stay for the whole period of the topical workshop. Among other benefits, MITP offers all its participants office space and access to computing facilities during their stay. In addition, MITP provides significant support to local expenses. Further information can be found on our website www.mitp.uni-mainz.de.
MITP will offer various options for accommodation. More detailed information on the logistics will be provided as the workshop approaches. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us (mitp@uni-mainz.de).
