We are pleased to announce "Neutrino Scattering at Low and Intermediate Energies" workshop organized in collaboration with NuSTEC!
Understanding neutrino-nucleus interactions at energies of tens to hundreds of MeV is essential for the success of many scientific endeavours of current interest. Examples of these include studies of coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering, supernova neutrino detection, and accelerator-based neutrino oscillation experiments.
The workshop will be dedicated to discussing challenges and opportunities for each of these topics from various perspectives, including experts from the experimental, theoretical, and computational communities. Prospects for leveraging unique Mainz facilities (MAMI and the future MESA) to inform lepton-nucleus interaction modeling will be given special emphasis.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Wick Haxton (UC, Berkeley)
- Or Hen (MIT)
- Natalie Jachowicz (Gent U.)
- Alessandro Lovato (ANL)
- Javier Menendez (Barcelona U.)
- Saori Pastore (Washington U., St Louis)
- Noemi Rocco (Fermilab)
- Federico Sanchez (Geneva U.)
- Kate Scholberg (Duke U.)
