General Information

The program is organized by Matthew Buican (Queen Mary U. of London), uca Griguolo (INFN Parma/U. Parma), Christopher Herzog (King's College London), Kristan Jensen (San Francisco State Univ.), Andrew O'Bannon (Univ. Southampton), Silvia Penati (INFN Milano Bicocca / Univ. Milano-Bicocca), and Domenico Seminara (INFN Florence/U. Florence)

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, MITP events cannot take place on campus in Mainz. Nevertheless, MITP seeks to bring together physicists and mathematicians with common scientific interests to concentrate on a specific topic in a comprehensive schedule.

This MITP Virtual Workshop has a light schedule with only three talks per day in order to stimulate collaborations and informal discussions among the participants. This is achieved by long discussion sessions, breakout rooms for meetings of smaller groups, and informal chats between the participants, including a poster session as an "ice breaker" event.
