The goal of the workshop is to clarify ways to determine the fundamental parameters of QCD. These are mainly the strong coupling and the quark masses, but include also parameters relevant in theoretical approaches as for example chiral perturbation theory, QCD sum rules and lattice QCD. A sideline addition will be to discuss the current status of the hadronic contribution to the muon anomaly, g-2. Relevant experimental information, e.g. results from electron-positron annihilation into hadrons, tau-lepton decays, and data from high-energy experiments will be discussed.

The workshop is a follow-up to a previous similar one in Singapore in 2013 (http://www.ntu.edu.sg/ias/upcomingevents/WKSQCD13/Pages/default.aspx). There will be morning talks, followed by extensive afternoon discussion sessions involving all participants. Proceedings will be published in the Review Section of Mod. Phys. Lett. A, distributed over several issues.
