General Information

The program is organized by Biplab Dey (Eötvös Loránd Univ.), Patricia Camargo Magalhaes (Univ. Bristol), Elisabetta Prencipe (Justus Liebig Univ. Giessen), and Jonas Rademacker (Univ. Bristol).

MITP seeks to bring together physicists with common scientific interests for discussions and collaborations. Instead of relying on a comprehensive list of talks, the program will focus on a series of informal seminars to inspire further discussions. Typically, up to 25 scientists take part at any given time. They are expected to stay for at least two weeks.

In normal circumstances, MITP offers all its participants office space and access to computing facilities during their stay. In addition, MITP covers local housing expenses for accepted participants.  However, due to the evolution of SARS2-Covid19 pandemic in Germany and unpredictable situation in March 2022, we have to move this workshop to a full virtual event, due to security reasons.

No limitation in number of participants per week exists for a virtual event. Details on remote connection will be share only by email to the registered and confirmed participants.

Invited speakers are welcome to propose an abstract (max 500 words) and title, and send them in pdf format to the email contact HSBS2022@uni-mainz.de by the deadline of 15 February 2022, h. 23:59 CEST. If any other participant is planning to give a seminar-contribution, please let us know by the indicated deadline: we will shortly contact you and inform if your contribution is accepted, once the agenda is finalized.

The time allotted to every contribution will be typically 40 minutes (only plenary talks).

A photo will be taken on 25th March, h. 10:50 CET. Please, join the zoom session with your camera on. The photo will be uploaded on this web site.

We are very much looking forward to meet you!
