Description
In recent years, the field of precision spectroscopy has emerged as a powerful and versatile probe for light new physics. In this talk I will give an effective-field-theory-inspired introduction to isotope shift spectroscopy and show how so-called King plots can be used for setting bounds on a new boson mediating between the nucleus and the bound electrons.
