The workshop will focus on two main themes. One is promising avenues in which machine learning techniques have already been applied to lattice field theory, like accelerating calculations while maintaining exactness, addressing inverse problems, and identifying phase transitions. The other is creating a dialogue across different subfields of lattice field theory and machine learning to catalyze further innovation and development at this intersection.
