Description

Lithium borate glasses doped with Dy3+ and Yb3+ and containing silver nanoparticles (SNP) in different concentrations were synthesized ant their glow curves' kinetic parameters were studied in this work. The kinetic parameters of the TL curves were calculated by using the peak shape method. The Thermoluminescence (TL) response to UV irradiation was studied, the glow curve reveals this material is a candidate as dosimeter and shows significant dependence of the TL intensity with the increment of the SNP in the samples.
